This research report found that Inland Rail could sustain another 590 full-time jobs for the areas between Brisbane and the New South Wales border by its 10th year of operation.

Overall, Inland Rail can deliver a $3.1 billion increase to southern Queensland’s gross regional product over its first 50 years of operation.

This builds on the jobs and uplift from construction and operation in the 2015 business case for the infrastructure project.
