Inland Rail Gladstone Link Prefeasibility Study

The department has completed a prefeasibility study on extending Inland Rail to the Port of Gladstone. The study considered the potential demand for freight services to and from Gladstone, in addition to the economic, financial, environmental and community consideration of a rail link.

  • key alignments that could service the Port
  • the overall viability of a rail link.
