Public exhibition - Narrabri to North Star phase 2 draft Environmental Impact Statement

Communities and local residents are encouraged to submit their feedback on the draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), released by the New South Wales Department of Planning and Environment, for phase 2 of the Narrabri to North Star section of the Inland Rail program.
The public exhibition period is a great opportunity for local residents, communities and business owners to contribute to the design and delivery of Inland Rail in their region.
Work on this section includes upgrading 13km of track between Moree and Camurra and construction of 2km of new track across the Mehi-Gwydir floodplain.
The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is helping communities and stakeholders along the Inland Rail route to get involved in the public exhibition, engage with the EIS and access key documents by running a number of drop-in sessions between 28 September and 27 October 2022.
For information on how to submit an online submission, visit the New South Wales Department of Planning and Environment website before the closing date of Wednesday 2 November 2022.
