Expression of Interest process open for the Inland Rail Interface Improvement Program

The II Program will enable local communities, industry and government to identify projects that could increase and maximise the long-term benefit of Inland Rail – improving access to the national freight network and providing for more productive rail-based supply chains.
Read more about the gateway process and the information requirements for the II Program to submit your EOI. Submissions close 31 October 2019. A further round of EOIs will open around April 2020.
We are interested to hear from groups of supply chain managers, producers, local and state governments, local businesses, community representatives and freight and train operators to identify projects for consideration under the II Program.
Through this program, we will allocate specialist service providers to work with eligible project proponents on the development of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies and strategic business cases consistent with infrastructure best practice gateway assessment processes.
The launch of the EOI process follows the completion of II Program information sessions at 10 locations across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria throughout late September and early October.
